You are joking, right ?
Colin Brazier and Sky News getting the dog's abuse on Twitter, for sifting through the luggage of one of the plane crash victims. Brazier realising too late that it is inappropriate to do such a thing.

Totally unacceptable, yet on the RT scale of gross journalism it's nothing compared to what Life News in Russia and RT were showing on Thursday.

I discovered that I have the 12 noon bulletin on my hard drive, so uploaded the incident on YouTube.

I wonder why no clips have turned up online.

That's what I thought. Up to that point, Colin was being really cautious, explaining to viewers why they didn't show the images of dead bodies etc. While what he did was wrong, it was live television and mistakes can happen which he made clear when he realised his mistake.

Which shows someone recording their TV screen and has no context at all. I wonder how many outraged people on Twitter have only seen this clip.

Disgraceful. Why anyone would even waste their time trying to defend something so intrinsically wrong is beyond me. It doesn't matter that he stopped after a few seconds, he still did it live on air. And in the process offended many many people with his grossly insensitive reporting of an awful human tragedy.
Further evidence of the shocking decline in standards at Sky News. Don't tell me this would have happened a decade or so because it absolutely wouldn't. No doubt fodg09 will be along shortly to tell us how excellent the coverage has been overall.
