Surprised though from the news releases it seems to be long form content rather than current reports as I think is on the NOW TV app. No reason short form content couldn't be on the Sky On Demand service I'd have thought.

I'm one of the producers working on this, and I can tell you there'll be everything there you could possibly want, including bucketloads of archive material in "The Vault." Bear in mind this is just a soft launch for the next week or so - we've been ramping up to it for months, but it's going to continue to evolve, and I'm happy to take suggestions for what peoplle might like to see.

Incidentally, it was a privilege to make my on-camera debut today, posted here only because the presentational set-up deviates from the norm (... for fairly obvious reasons!)

Is this on the NOW TV app? Didn't think it was, unless it's launched in the last couple of days.

Now TV box to be more precise.

Right now, it is a service exclusive to Sky boxes. I can't comment on future plans.

Also, I can tonight reveal that the On-Demand programme "Week In Review" (Secker/Pierce/Maguire) will now be going out on TV every Friday at 1930 starting this week. Please tune in - as always, feedback welcome!

Pierce and Maguire on Sky News twice a week now! Oh you really are spoiling us now! Smile

Can you also say something to skynews' theme music? The current one since May 2010 is getting more and more annoying than ever before. I am desperate. The orchestra tune from 2005-2010 was superb.

Not my area, sorry.

One thing that always interests me is "significant" breaking news, maybe the archive material in The Vault could include some of this?

In time, it may... Wink (In all seriousness, I'm in charge of that bit, so I'm happy to take suggestions.)
