The promos are getting increasingly desperate.

When are they going to confirm exactly who is leaving the network? TV Newsroom says Chris Skudder is going as well.

Unlikely that they'd ever actually outwardly confirm. I guess it will just become apparent over time.

Chris Skudder is definitely going to the World Cup though as far as I know so maybe he'll be off after that.

One thing is already apparent - Sky News will never be the same.

These cutbacks could be down to Sky News not securing the Overall Majority Tory government!

Last week Chris told me he was ok via Twitter...maybe something has changed...

In the "Union boss" promo it seems extremely likely that Tony Woodley chooses to speak to the Sky camera simply because it's the one in the middle (I.e. he's doing it for logistical reasons rather than having a preference for Sky's journalism). Seems dodgy that Sky would want to run a promo when there's a margin of ambiguity. And, er...it's Tony Woodley...not a celebrity.

Why would they do that?

That's exactly what I thought too, the promo seems a little awkward.

Random aside, but why is Jeremy Thompson considered part of Sky's A-Team? I mean, his delivery is *awful* - he's a complete parody of a newsreader.
