Something really interesting I have just found. It shows how the new sky news sports studio looks. Obviously they also have a touch screen there.

Updated logo now being used on Twitter, but still not on SkyNews.com or the iPad app.

Edit: The new wall is just about visible in this shot from the Sky News gallery (camera 7). Looks very tall. Think that's a new red fin in the background as well.

The platform in front of the newswall (although I think its no longer a wall and is actually a very large screen) seems to stretch out a lot further than it used to - all hints towards a functional new presentation area that can be used on a more regular basis than the old wall. Excited to see it on air.

Zooming in a little on that photo...it seems like it's a 'TVScreen'. It looks like it has a (compared to the last wall) tiny black bezel around it and looks a lot taller too. It'd most likely be in HD now, and possibly, like some have suggested, touchscreen? Although I don't think it'd have much use since iPads currently do the job fine and I don't see a presenter being able to swipe along such a large screen without I looking weird.

Let's hope that when the revamp goes live, the overnight gallery staff get trained on how to use the graphics properly. Especially the Breaking News Aston.
We could just see the red fin near the new wall behind Paula at Sky News Centre.

They have themes, they just choose not to use them.
And I'd say the VoiceOver is one of the best in the news, authoritative and powerful.
Woud love to have a new theme tune/voiceovers.

The new Sky News logo looks like that foreign channel that ripped off their graphics, and Sky have ripped off their ripped off graphics. I've forgotten what that channel was called mind you.
Just seen the HD DOG and it really does look awful.
Came across a tweet earlier that mentioned ongoing rehearsals on what was described as the new 'wall screen'.
I guess there will probably be rehearsals all this week before it goes on air next week?
