I don't know what you mean by logistical problems, this idea (real set & VR set) has been used on a smaller scale across the world, such as Global TV in Canada.

How many different programmes do Sky News broadcast though? From Millbank they broadcast 'Boulton and Co' and 'Murnaghan', and from the Gherkin 'Jeff Randall Live' - that leaves Sunrise and general news from the SN centre, so a virtual set for multiple programmes would be pointless.

The discussion about it being stupid getting a new video wall to be used for nothing, then the idea about a return to programming came up. If programming did come back then the virtual idea would be better.

I don't think there's a lot of difference, as this old picture shows (featuring the base of the elbow too).

Lorry , I mean this is a new logo?!
I just remember this is like the font which popped up on the skynewspressoffice site few weeks ago.

No, the stings are the only things that are new. Everything else is the same.

No I mean the logo I can see in the stings has a different font, like the onewhich shortly popped up on skynewspressoffice a while ago.

The 'sky' part of the logo also has a transparent background like most Sky channels...

Could we see this logo change together with the new wall as a sort of minirelaunch. I am afraid the new wall is not on air yet, otherwise it would have been posted?
