Well they are presenting the overnights from there so it's not too major (no desk replacement)

FFS the desk would be the LAST thing they did if it was changing.

Maybe if your right in saying next Monday will be when it's 'revealed', during the weekend before this they could/ may change the desk etc?

No I didn't mean next monday (OCT 7) but rather OCT 14. But it's just an own estimation. Then they'd even have more time to replace it.

Iain Dale said in a tweet that it would be 5 weeks and that was in mid September so that would suggest it will be a week or so. I think this is a change from Sky News previous relaunches. This one seems more phased - we've already had the shoe box refreshed, now we are getting a relaunched news wall. It seems a change in tack from the previous relaunches.

Reiterating a point that's been said previously: I hope the newswall actually gets used after this rather major revamp. A possibility of afternoon live coming back in order for it to be worth the upgrade? Because it did it's job perfectly fine before, there wasn't much of a need to replace it.

Exactly, whereas there is more need to replace the desk.

Why????? There's nothing wrong with the current desk.
