That might very well change. I would assume the desk would be the last to go in. If there's lots of building work going on around it (admittedly its all screened off) they probably wouldn't want to damage it. That's my theory... Although probably totally wrong.
I can't help but think that if the news wall makes a return and forms part of a presentational revamp, it's probably been helped along by the BBC News channel's use of theirs in the last couple of months, since moving to NBH.
Sky News was always at the cutting edge of news presentation (I know it's the journalism and content that really matter) but they have been a bit lacklustre in variety over the last few years. You can still have quality journalism and reports, and have a varied on screen presence too (standing up/sitting down) whilst not lowering the channel's quality - as the beeb have shown. It's television after all.
And it seems the newsroom backdrop will also be renewed. But I think it would have been more important to change the desk!

I'd imagine it still "exists," but why compromise with a chroma-key studio, when you've got a fully furnished alternative live newsroom studio that, to the casual viewer, looks no different.
So then Studio B doesn´t exist anymore?

Because everybody was talking "just" about a new wall.

Is Studio B not where the sports presentation is delivered from? I remember reading that Studio B is upstairs which I believe the sports is coming from.

A few problems 12am.
The clips for the headlines played, minus the presenters voiceover. The Syria aston got stuck on screen, we then went to a website slide and crashed midway through a report.
Did anyone record it?
Edit. Seems to be some problems after midnight, after said report ended - it went to a website slide and straight into a report about the house fire in Leicester. Once again, no presenter could be heard.

I don't think the studio sound is coming through tonight. It just happened after Greg Milam's report too. Maybe the gallery can hear but TV Output cannot, because the graphics and on screen presentation would lead me to believe someone is talking but we just can't hear them...

Yes, Lukwesa seems to be miming!
The problem seems to of occurred since crossing back to the overnights from Osterley.
I think they know they have a problem as they're now re-showing the earlier sports bulletin.

At the end of the Sports bulletin it faded to black and went to adverts and during the break we've had a still 'Sky News HD' slide pop up with the channel numbers on the various platforms underneath. I'm not familiar with the format of the overnights but so far since the break we've had a few links and a few reports.
