A few days in and I'm still not a fan of the single line strap, it keeps running off the end of the screen or having 1 letter before it does, so does anyone know how much less text they can fit on the single line compared to the old shorter 2 line?
The big BREAKING NEWS red bit looks out of place where before it was balanced out by the double line strap underneath, If they don't want it taking up more screen space they could reduce the size of the BREAKING NEWS bit slightly and put the 2 line strap back again or better still reduce it slightly but also push it up the screen a fraction to fit it in too.
I'm also not a fan of how small the red bit goes for things like the coming up, press preview etc when the big text single line strap is on, this was not an issue with the last look as the 2 line became a 1 line with bigger text but the red area stayed the same size all the time
Its quite difficult to explain so hopefully that made some sense to some of you
Another little thing the FTSE 100 box next to the SD logo is a pixel or 2 too short

It's all about branding, not whether one part of a studio is "more suitable" than another.
I don't understand the point to move the sports news now to a fake studio backdrop with no screens and a mini desk. Wasn't the shoebox more suitable?
