Possibly the cameraman with Sam Kiley or with Sky News Arabia? Very sad indeed.

It might explain why Sam Kiley hasn't done a live interview with Sky Centre for the past few hours. The fact Sky haven't announced it may be because they need to inform the deceased's next of kin.

Either way it's horrific, RIP Mr Dean. Not the only media employee killed today in Egypt.

I was watching this morning when Sam Kiley was doing a live broadcast.

Some gunfire was heard and Sam said " There is some gunfire here"
There was then some commotion behind the camera and said "He had to go"

The live feed was cut and the shot returned to the studio.

Very sad news. Thoughts to family.

I am wondering if sky news hd receives a complete graphics refresh and sky news sd remains with the old hd graphics. This might exlplain the try to implement a new hd logo on the press office site.
