I think if they're going to use the local time clock (which I think is a great addition) they should use it for every live location, not just the U.S.

Even in the UK?

Quite right I would say for every other time than Greenwich Meridian. Great addition though! Go Further!

"Sky News Live from Oklahoma" has been added to the EPG. Many of the interviews they're showing are from CBS, does Sky have an agreement with them to air CBS footage? I would guess so because of the CBS news programme that airs early each morning on Sky.

Both Sky and CBS are members of ENEX - European News Exchange (http://www.enex.lu/public/).

Quick question, when a big Breaking story happens which involves adverts/breaks being cancelled and continuous rolling coverage of an event. Who makes the decision? Is it the producer/director on duty or from further up the chain?

I've only ever known a couple of times when they've suspended ad breaks (9/11 and 7/7 come to mind).

Can't answer the above question, but would like to add that Sky tends to definitely compensate for not showing adverts in the initial stages of a major developing story, to running ad breaks seemingly every 10 minutes when there are no further developments. A bit crass, I believe.

Quite bad 'on the phone' graphic for Alistair Bunkall just now, music frequency in Sky News 'lightning blue' on left with a bas quality Sky News HD logo overlaid, and a bad photo of Alistair on the right.

the split screens seem to be ones that are kind of a hybrid between the original ones and the ones used for the Thatcher Funeral as the screens go all the way down to the red headline. They are then overlaying the graphics at the bottom of it on one side and no graphic on the other.

Normally there would be a strip under the split screens and if only one side was being used a label one would have text and the other side plain white.
