It can't be so difficult to change the current theme music
Will this help win awards?
This is not the point. It would help to make it more watchable.
To the 0.1% of viewers who give a damn. Contrary to your warped view, people watch news channels for the journalism, not the idents.... Personally I don't mind the music. I think it's subtle and not over the top....

The music is unimportant as long as it is not annoying and ever repeating and on this forum at least two other users complained about this music beeing annoying. So itīs not a warped view of mine !

I personally stopped watching Sunrise when it become a newspaper review show with z list celebs like Nicky Chapman and the fitness instructor from Fame Academy At least they've cut the utterly pointless 9.30pm review.
The rest of the channel is fine.
well, yes but that doesn't detract from the fact half of it is spent talking about stories in the papers rather than reporting on them. Watchable, but very lazy TV
Quite a heated debate between Mark Longhurst and Lib Dem President Tim Farron. Both are getting quit annoyed with one another with Mark pretty much shouting over Tim at one point.

But isn't the humour and human presence something that people want to watch in the morning? The light-heartedness is what people look for in a morning programme and that's what differentiates it from the rest of the days programming and gets it the highest rating.
Watching Sky News Arabia now, the graphics are not better than the UK version. The only thing that is better is the set usage, which is something other members here have suggested Sky News UK do more of - which would be good.
I don't see any major problems with Sky News at the moment, and it certainly doesn't need a huge overhaul.
Sunrise is a good programme with Eamonn Holmes and Charlotte. I think the weekend edition is quite stale and I don't think Stephen Dixon is suited to morning television.
I agree don't think Stephen is the best presenter for Sunrise. I much preferred it with Marc.
I have found myself watching less of sunrise and late night sky news mainly because of the continuous newspaper reviews. IMO it is now overkill and lazy.
