What I also noticed just at the TOTH now, is that the pod which was beneath the isle, has been removed.

I did quite enjoy them joking about being really far away from each other at the desk.

What I like about Sunrise is that as well as having a harder news agenda than Breakfast and Daybreak, it's also the warmest and friendliest, a difficult balance which Eamonn and Charlotte make look easy.

I tuned in at around 8.40am this morning to see a clip from a Bond film being played...which seemed to go on for ages.

When we returned to the studio, Eamon announced that they were due to speak to a guest via a 2-way (the guest was in the green room), but we couldn't speak to him because 'someone had cut his sound wire'. Then we saw a floor manager attempt to replace the guest's earpiece.

They tried a couple of times to talk to him, before Eamon said on air. 'Now I just need to tell the gallery that I am not hearing them, and I can only hear myself'.

Then Charlotte had to take over, and told Eamon that sport was next.

All a bit of shambles really! Great watch though. I found it particularly well timed because it was clearly a filler story for them which was mainly aimed at promoting the Sky Movies 007 channel launching next month. Never mind.

Contradicted in such a short timeframe...

What could have been the reason that sunrise was presented from the desk yesterday? Eamonn only said that "things are happening in the studio".

I heard that some of the set went missing after Eamonn was fierce hungry, so he was.

Then they did a great job in rebuilding exactly the same set they had before.

Did you notice that Kay Burley was using the new chair again?

A very shaky TOTH pan just then.
