Watching that video it's clear that Adam is in the right for most of it. But he does get carried away towards the end and is provoked and has his buttons pushed by Campbell. Boulton should know better then to allow Alistair to taunt him like that.
from my point of view Campbell is doing his best as a sleazy spin doctor, and Adam lowers himself and cracks after I'm a lot of feuding between the two men.
The problem with Adam Boulton is, when he says Labour Lost, he implies that the Conservatives won, and that is not the case.
The problem with Alistair Campbell is that when he says the Conservatives didn't win, he implies Labour didn't lose.
I voted in the hopes of a Hung Parliament with Labour and the LibDems against the Tories, I don't know if that will be the final outcome, and so I don't know if my "Team" won or lost
I suspect that Adam Boulton has had very little sleep over the past week or so, and that must have played a part.
However there is a growing feeling that Sky News is not what it once was journalistically - and is beginning to have an agenda of its own.
Not suggesting that Adam Boulton has an agenda (though he does think a lot of himself I suspect) However it must be incredibly frustrating having to present on a channel with Kay Burley also as a presenter, and she certainly tries to have one (though her journalistic limitations are just as much of an issue)... However unbiased Adam may be, it must be galling to know that you can be accused of it because others on your channel are toeing the corporate line in a much more partial manner...
There is an undeniable undercurrent that Sky now has an agenda - and is (like its sister Fox News) treating the various parties differently rather than in an equal and balanced way.
I have great respect for Adam Boulton, and I don't blame him for getting a little personal with the amount of work he has been doing since the election campaign started. He was wrong to rise to the bate of Alistair Campbell.
But looking at the prior encounter with them both, Alistair Campbell voiced the view of many that there has been a Pro-Tory bias with Sky News, and he goaded him with "That is a serious allegation" where he couldn't really discuss it freely.
Now Adam Boulton is defending Sky News, seemingly alone, and Kay Burley is making the situation worse, and I think an investigation should be launched to clear this up one way or another, and if bias is found, a change at the top (ie John Riley steps down) or they get a clean bill of health by an independent body both politically and broadcast wise.

I think its very unlikely that the complaints to Ofcom will lead to anything. Perhaps if people complained about Jeff Randall they might have a case.
It's very similar to the John Sweeny/Scientology incident, once a journalist loses his rag like that then his credibility is compromised. He really didn't come out the best out of the two - Campbell was standing there, relaxed, hand in pocket saying calm down while Boulton was huffing and puffing and waving his hands around. Embarrasing for him and Sky
It's not as if what Campbell was saying was that incendary.
In the excitement of the Boulton/Campbell showdown, it seems to have been overlooked that Kay Burley was receiving
praise
around these parts for her coverage this afternoon.

No complaints about Kay this afternoon, if anything she was quite good!
