The new coming up sequence was used in the sport yesterday. I think it's only being used if the presenter is mentioning two stories - so before the TOTH, they tend only to mention one story hence they aren't using the new graphic.

No, I was watching yesterday for 2 hours and saw 4 Coming up sequences with 2 Stories and it only was the usual one.

There was one at 1030 but just with one story - it was a new one. The story was full screen so easily missed

You do realise that its not a sequence like the old coming up. Its simply just a new transition that they are using on some of the coming ups?

You do realise that its not a sequence like the old coming up. Its simply just a new transition that they are using on some of the coming ups?

No ,from what I have read here so far there was a genuine Coming up sequence which was followed by the skynews logo.

No ,from what I have read here so far there was a genuine Coming up sequence which was followed by the skynews logo.


The ones that I've seen have been a new transition between full screen images with the standard coming up straps. Not a full sequence like the old one.

Yes, apologies, I referred your post to the murnaghan and boulton&co split screen background for interviews ,which is since yesterday the usual skynews one.

They're probably not using the Boulton/Murnaghan split screen backgrounds because they look very similar to the new ones. Especially since the colour has darkened.

There's was a single story "coming up" strand just now, with the new graphic. So perhaps they're just using it every so often, rather than at every advert break.
