I never said working 18 hour days means he is unfit. Im just saying a man who at the moment is pretty mush devoting his life to politics deserves better that flimsy accusations. Allastair was unable to back his argument up and Adam as he said "I actually care about this election." Allastair is in it for himself and not the labour party and no one else.

"I actually care about the Tories winning this election".

Where is your proof?

Proof of what?

I want to know where Brekkie's proof of Adam Boulton wanting the Tories to win the election is.

Yes I agree. He takes his job far to serious to have his own agenda like Allastair Campbell. He really hates being accused of being biased because he puts so much effort into his job that flimsy accusations like that are a slur on the man he is

The Lady doth protest too much though. If he was so sure he wasn't part of an biased organisation he wouldn't blow his top everytime someone suggests otherwise.

I don't deny its an unbiased organisation. It may be, I believe its not but Adam Boulton is certainly unbiased and for Alastair to make comments to the affect of Adam wishing Cameron wont is completely out of order and Adam had every right to defend himself and his impartiality in a passionate manner

Bolton came out on top of that, showed Campbell up as being a a spinning slime ball. Bolton is completely impartial, these slurs on Sky being biased are just getting stupid now. I find their coverage fair. Adam was standing up for democracy, how is it fair the losing party still rules the country with a prime minister who 2/3rds of the population want out. Remember, Bolton is a journalist and his job is to tell it how it is.

I agree. If Adam was to ever step down he would surely be a front runner for political editor.

Just to reiterate if anything the this spat illustrates how seriously Sky and particularly Adam take their impartiality. Having said that the Jeff Randall piece at half 5 was unacceptable and while I don't think Sky is biased I do think there is a possibility that Sky News has decided it wants to throw its weight around and be a bit more disruptive and attention grabbing.
