Sky News: Presentation Discussion

I'd guess November.

Something I don't remember before seeing, in the last hour or so: a split-screen, with one side covering the ongoing situation in Denver, and the other side of the screen showing other stories.

Used to be something they did quite often during breaking news on Sky, haven't seen it done for ages though.

Quite a fun morning on Sunrise, Charlotte mysteriously disappeared at 6:30, leaving Eamonn to present on his own. Turns out the lock had broken on her dressing room and she had been banging on the door for a while before anyone knew where she was. When she returned after 7, it was complete with mobile phone footage of a security guard breaking the door open.

Does anyone have any clips?

Has happened before... this is about all I could find I'm afraid on a quick google search of it being used previously.

You'd think that someone working for Sky News would know which way to hold their phone when recording video. I hope someone was sacked for this.

I have to say, it's a good job she was freed because Eamonn was dreadful at reading the news in brief whilst she was gone. He really rushed it.
