My stopwatch is ready.

Please can you let us know how long the 10pm TOTH was? It really is vital that I update my database of TOTH lengths

Please don't joke around, you do realise TOTH timekeeping is of the upmost importance within the Sky News Co-operative Viewer Society? It is top of the agenda at their annual meeting. Don't upset them, and they won't upset you.

(that was also a joke in case people misunderstand me yet again)

I "clocked it" (I believe that is the correct terminology, pardon the newbie) at 1'13", a night-on-night decrease of ~ -27s.

Waiting for phil94 verification, of course, but proof if proof be need be of the insurmountable power of TVF.

Thank you so much. I will now be able to sleep tonight.

Why are you making fun of it? I only thought it is worthy to mention because it's been the longest TOTH sequence after the 11.04.2011 axe and I remember that somebody of you was upset by the introduced 40 seconds. But obiously it's not welcome in a presentation forum so I'll refrain from doing so in future.

Yes, but you posted it without any context. It's not earth-shattering stuff in any case, but if you'd explained it, it wouldn't have looked so strange.

Here's a thought. Perhaps there was a lot of news that night?

did anyone just see the skynews report from Ashish Joshi about the Olympic Security?

It featured a clip from 'behind the scenes' like when they brought in the G4S Exec to the Westminster studio, you can see the skynews screen in the studio showing test cards and Ashish Joshi pointing to the camera

Just saw a report by Lisa Holland in Beijing, according to her twitter she is in Beijing for a few months. Also Mark Stone has been in Beijing so possibly they may be rotating correspondents in Beijing. It appears though that Holly Williams has left. No doubt a huge loss to Sky News.
