Sky Press Preview throwing in a cheap shot against the BBC, focusing on an article slamming the BBC's coverage of the pageant. Mark Longhurst left fumbling for words when this was pointed out by one of the guests.
It's a shame Sky felt the need to stoop to petty rivalry, what they hope to gain from wallowing in the Beeb's misfortune I'll never know.
Cheeky *******, how dare they mention a story that many newspapers covered during a newspaper review.
Sky News SD is currently in 4:3 (here in Ireland at least) with reduced picture quality - I wonder whats up?
My TV is displaying it as a 16:9 picture but it is actually a stretched 4:3 picture. The UK version is fine. The Irish version can be found on 12207 V if anyone is interested. It is the second Sky News listed there if you are using a Sky box.

I watched the majority of that preview, and I recall that every article they featured came from the Mail. But if it was a topic covered by many papers, then sure, why not discuss it.
I was seeing the Irish Feed as well, it's still not right at the moment, with the midnight news still being a 4:3 picture with the sky news logo, graphics stretched to fit 16:9 which looks quite frankly awful, it's been like it since 10am and happens during the breaks also where the left and right Sky Ads get cut off. It looks like a badly configured TV.
However CBS News this evening is really odd. again it's a 4:3 picture stretched to be 16:9, which again looks absolutely awful, however the Sky News logo is actually not stretched and is in the 4:3 safe zone and does not seem to have been stretched with the picture. It looks normal but the picture does not.
Even more bizarre is I've just seen the same picture on the Sky News online stream and the logo is exactly the same distance away from the edge of the picture as it is on the Irish broadcast, however the picture behind the logo is being shown at native 16:9 and looks a hell of a lot better.

What gives?
Even better the international live stream says: Connection failed.
Looks even more stretched this morning with very poor sound quality. I can't believe this has been going on for 24 hours now and nobody has fixed it.
For a few moments I noticed there was a normal SD 4:3 safe graphics which looked normal and not stretched but the picture behind them was still stretched.,
