I noticed that. Maybe it just slipped off the tongue as he's not used to presenting at this time of day, is he?

Well to be fair you wouldn't have noticed it rising considering the amount of clouds and rain.

Eamonn normally only presents Sunrise because of his commitments elsewhere like This Morning.

I'd say so, just like Matt Lauer who repeatedly referred to "this morning" when he filled in on NBC Nightly News earlier this week.

And the axing of those programmes was such a wrong move.
Kay Burley and Jeremy Thompson took a while to adapt after the axing of Afternoon Live and Live and Five. It's only natural if you've been saying the same thing endlessly for a number of years.

I know a news channel is aimed generally at live viewing but I really wish they'd stop giving everything 30 minute slots on the EPG. If they must break them down do it in hour-long slots at least, but really special events at least should be billed as one programme.
I know it's done for the sake of ratings but nobody is fooled by it - Sunrise might get better ratings for a specific half-hour slot than it does over three hours but ultimately breaking it down on the EPG doesn't boost the number of people watching or con the advertisers into paying more.

I wondered if someone would mention this. He made quite a few mistakes, including "I'll see you tomorrow morning on Tonight...'.

I'd just like to remind everyone that phil94 is German, so not everything he says will make perfect sense in English.

Yawn... to be fair, one of them does look like a girl.
