And by the way in the 21st century nearly every TV should be 16:9.

Do you want to pay for everyone to upgrade to one then? A widescreen tax?

Honestly , there is NO problem watching a 16:9 format with a 4:3 television . So I don't understand the safe areas.

Oh I thought you meant everyone should have a 16:9 TV, not that every 4:3 TV should be in 16:9.

If I meant that or not that's irrelevant. My point is that there is no problem watching a 16:9 picture ratio with any TV , so the safe areas are in my opinion needles and they destroy the screen balance.

Well, people can be, in case you haven't noticed, quite dim, so the Safe Areas are needed.

Not really a Presentation issue but was just wondering if anyone knew where I could watch ''The Road To Tripoli'', believe it was called? Have seen the trail for the programme but didn't get the chance to watch it!
Much appreciated!

Why is Sky News HD not offered on Virgin Media? Are there plans to add it on?

Mayoral debate looking like its going to be a good one on Sky. I'm surprised Adam Boulton isn't hosting although I'm sure Anna Botting will do a fantastic job. The setting looked quite spectacular earlier with The City backdrop, hopefully it looks as good when dark and not reflecting lights of the glass instead.

Sky think it's going to be so good they've taken up most of Jeff Randall Live to plug it
