I hate seeing the back of the chair

The chairs are too big. Need one more like BBC News.

I have a feeling that it might not exactly be comfortable for the presenter to sit on one of those for 3 hours a day...

And anyway, I really can't understand why anyone is concerned about the size of the chair or how the presenters sit. As long as they are looking down the camera and reading the news, I can't see a problem.

Chair could easily get in shot if it's too big

I'm really not a fan of the "special event" graphics, especially for something like a civil war. It just screams American News and sensationalism... Something I thought Sky were trying to avoid?

Although it might keep some TVForumers content for a short while.

Inclined to agree, particularly when the graphic looks as tacky as that Syria one.

All Sky News graphics look tacky. Special event ones are just the icing on the cake.

Great opening of the program with paula middlehurst this afternoon. They put more emphasis on the program than usually, due to the breaking news of AVB beein sacked. Nice Newswall backdrop usage behind paula to show the breaking news and good coverage of Nick as well.

Basicly, the normal breaking news scrolling on the newswall & Continuous coverage of Nick for the afternoon.
