There was some footage, bad quality though, a little while ago. Gamal Fahnbulleh was providing some commentary, so I take it he was on the scene. Sky still rolling with yesterday's news it seems though. BBC way ahead.

Maybe they do have a camera team on scene but without Live broadcasting capabilities - I.e. Satellite truck etc.

At 3am (Almost 3 hours since the initial eviction started from St Pauls), Sky News now showing some pictures 'Recorded Earlier' with a reporter on the phone, they've obviously had a camera team on the ground but opted for footage to be recorded and then sent back to the Sky News centre, maybe because they didn't have the fascility to go live on the ground?

Some different shots being used in the studio today with Kay Burley and the desk facing the Newswall with the 'Breaking News' banner behind her for the James Murdoch resigns coverage.

Also notice that Kay Burley had Chris Bryant as an interviewee about the subject and Chris Bryant couldn't stop himself digging at Kay throughout the interview. I suppose Kay got her own back when she cut Chris Bryant off when Sky News needed to go into an ad break and said 'I have to stop you there, I'm sure our viewers will make of what you said at their will'... or words to that effect.

I'll be honest, I was originally watching the BBC News channel and noticed he popped up from their Westminster studio about another subject, Immigration, but the BBC chose to talk to him - understandably about his reaction to James Murdoch resigning. I knew it was only a matter of time before Sky News pulled him in for a chat. I flicked over in anticipation of a Burley vs Bryant match. I feel sorry for Kay, she must gulp when she hears in her talkback 'O/B interview with Chris Bryant, Kay'.

I find it a bit idiotic the way Bryant deliberately tries to wind her up in attempt to win praise on Twitter. While her line of questioning isn't always brilliant, he just comes across as rude and his digs at her today were just pathetic. I thought she handled it very well this afternoon.

So the live wipe is officially back then? I don't think they'd accidently ADD sound to something.
