What happened with the graphics about 1am or so? Seemed to be some serious problems?
On the 1am TOTH there was no logo, no time and no ticker. Nothing was animated either graphics wise, everything just appearing on the screen. Even the animation between the TOTH and the Bruce Hammell Voiceover where the swoosh used to be was missing.
The ticker then came on for about ten seconds at 1.05am and appeared to be working but everything was removed again including logo. Then at 1.30am a large Sky News Logo (like the one before the recent graphics refresh) appeared still with no ticker and time. At 2.00am it was still like this, still no animation on straps., no weather also.

Good job Phil94 didn't see this, or the forum would have been full of complaints about why they've ditched the animations, the ticker, the clock, why they've brought back the old logo and why they've scrapped showing weather bulletins, along with lots of reminisence about how much better the channel was before they started messing.

Oh, but those days were obviously SO much better. I mean, you had those wonderful 'swooshes' between everything, and they kept all of the Voiceover. My only issue with those days was to do with how there'd be no audio as you came out of a break...

Maybe he's too busy playing with his Sky News Siren to notice the fact that Sky News is going Euronews overnight. Definitely no swooshes there!
Why decided skynews then in 2005 to have lots of different presentation areas , many sounds, extra graphics, lots of different programs and music, when everything according to you all is so unpopular?

I did see this indeed! I woke up at 2 am and my TV still beeing on and showing Chloe presenting the news without any graphics. NEVERTHELESS I refused to post about this issue. But you have to admit that I was right with the point that they axed the sounds and it was not a temporal problem.

Sorry to do this...
I think you mean a
temporary
problem, unless you think the integrity of the timeline is at stake and the universe is in danger?
I take it that Sky News don't have any reporters of camera teams available as so far tonight, we've had no Sky pictures Live on the ground from the Eviction of the protestors at St Pauls Cathedral. Caught sleeping on the job?
There was some footage, bad quality though, a little while ago. Gamal Fahnbulleh was providing some commentary, so I take it he was on the scene. Sky still rolling with yesterday's news it seems though. BBC way ahead.
