Al Jazeera won News Channel of the Year at the RTS Awards tonight.

However Sky have so far picked up gongs for UK News Coverage (The Riots), International News (Libya) and unsurprisingly Alex Crawford has picked up TV Journalist of the Year for an unprecedented 4th time and the 3rd year in a row.

Edit: And Anna Botting has just been named Presenter of the Year.

One could argue, if you win UK coverage, International coverage, journalist and presenter, how could you NOT win NCotY?

Agreed.

If there's one year when they definitely SHOULD win, it's this year.

(Even though they've lost the swoosh noise and have some sound problem after the break or whatever).
