Sky are making the most of it, this interview has lasted A LONG time.
Kay Burley currently interviewing Republican Presidential candidate Rick Santorum live from New Hampshire.
After a rather softball start she is now giving him a hard time.

A shame I think that one of Sky's stronger interviewers couldn't have conducted this, they could have really pushed him with the right questions.

No, she was in the studio. Rick Santorum was in New Hampshire, along with Greg Milam.
Was Kay in New Hampshire?

Oh Rick. The people of New Hamshire don't get Sky News.

Really good interview with Adam Boulton covering a host of issues from the defunct (for now) threat of Sky News being spun off, the challenges of working on the new Boulton and Co programme and the 2012 launch of Sky News Arabia.
He is clearly pleased that the spin off idea is no longer on the agenda and that Sky News remains a full part of the BSkyB family.

With Boulton & Co there has been a shift of the emphasis to more presentation and interviews in the studio, that was, and continues to be a challenge. I am now working with a broad canvas of stories, not just political, so that is indeed a new test. When we launched the programme, we felt there was a different way of doing news. We thought that there was perhaps a need to harden up the daytime news agenda and really to not force people to wait for Newsnight for any serious analysis. That, plus audience targets etc, were the main objectives at the start of 2011 and I’m glad to say, touch wood, we are managing to do that. It is also effectively providing a spine for our midday coverage and the audience figures have been reflected in that as well.

Following on from the success of last year, with the launch of the Sky News iPad app, which was the first video led app, the big event of this year is the launch of Sky News Arabia. Which will go live later this year in the spring. This is a partnership between Sky News and ADMIC, investors in Abu Dhabi. It will be broadcasted in Arabic but a lot of the Sky News team are working on the launch. There will be a team of Arab journalists working out of this office along with an additional twelve bureaus across the Middle East and North Africa.
It is a very exciting time as we are going to be right in the middle of one of the most talked about areas in foreign affairs. Hence, a major expansion in our foreign affairs offering. I think it will be very interesting in terms of the brand development and reputation in an area of the world that we aren't as commonly known. What might have happened last year with the merger, and not by the wish of either News Corp or BSKYB, we might have been spun off. Which, given the fact that the news business is not a high profit business, would have been quite difficult for Sky News. We are now in a much more secure position to develop within the BSKYB umbrella for the foreseeable future. This has been proved by the sizeable investment into the launch of Sky Arabia, BSKYB has consistently invested in news and I am not sure it would have been the perfect time to have been spun off. I think now we can really grow and develop even in these difficult times, which I suppose is one positive after a testing year.

What's wrong with the current set of graphics? Best they've had in years! I imagine a few tweaks will be on their way but nothing drastic. Also take care in writing your posts a bit more please. Ever heard of sentences?
Does anyone also think that skynews ( hopefully) will revamp graphics and music to coincide with the start of skynews arabia

Are we? How did you come to that conclusion? Sky News will not be vacating their current building for starters. There will be tweaks to graphics - yes - but it will not be a massive change. Changes have already occurred and you probably haven't even noticed them! There may be a few more in the coming months but to reiterate... there wont be a departure from the current style.
...If however previous posts are anything to go by we are in for a massive change
