The SD graphics are currently on Sky News HD. All the pictures and graphics are still in HD but the plain Sky News logo was seen at the TOTH and the same 4:3 safe ticker and lower thirds as seen on the SD channel are being used. Am guessing this is just a temporary thing.

Indeed, back to HD Graphics now! Very odd.

the whole graphics dissapeared now for the second or third time today. In each case for about 3 minutes

Back in the Fox News style box era in 2007 this use to happen all the time with graphics crashes leaving the screen for long periods of time. Made me realise how reliable the current set has been, I've hardly ever seen any problems on air other than this weekend!

Gamal now has a voiceover, Still not 1 for Jannat Jalil though who has been on overnights a lot recently

But then Jannat Jalil is freelance is she not whereas Gamal is employed by sky news. So Sky probably won't spend money for staff that can get up and go with no or little notice.

Actually, Jannat Jalil does now have a voice-over but I must say, it does sound VERY awkward. For example the Jannat is like its on x2 speed and the Jalil part is on half speed.
And as you say Gamals has been done....I presume that Sky News does their voiceovers in bunches and not just separate people.

Flipping around tonight and am frankly baffled to see that Sky News are persisting with the Jackson Trial instead of rolling with the somewhat more serious Greece (and wider Europe) story - especially as the last 12 hours have been impossible to predict, never mind fully grasp the gravity of.

I guess it's a case of "in for a penny", but I find it perplexing that they haven't thrown this celebrity case off to some red button type thing.

Increasingly impressed by Ed Conway, he has really grown into the role of economics editor in recent weeks.

I think they WERE focusing on that because the Trial has been on for so long now, and its coming to a close. So I don't think theyd stop at the final hurdle hurdle of the trial, especially with the "Continuous Coverage"
