Very Bolton & Co!

Also I noticed the HD graphics have also shifted in line with the changes made to SD so the astons are slightly higher by a pixel or so leaving a small gap between the ticker.

And the skynews.com logo on skynews intl is so misplaced and much bigger than the ticker that it looks unequal and it annoys you when you watch skynews intl .

I just saw another new correspondent promo on Sky News from Alex Crawford. This time, about an Afghan girl who burnt her legs because she was sold as a slave and forced into marriage. These promos are really captivating and show how solid Sky's correspondents are.

I think it was the wrong call not to interrupt the Jackson trial coverage for the press conference currently underway in Washington DC about a plot, linked to Iran, to assassinate the Saudi ambassador to the United States.

I think it's shocking for a breaking news channel like Sky. Shocked They are glued to this trial like it's the biggest thing ever. Rolling Eyes

This coverage is just plain boring IMO. I can only imagine it's because it's cheap for Sky, and as previously stated, to strengthen it's argument for cameras in courts this side of the pond.

Plus, from what I've heard, the viewing figures are very good.

What with the Iran plot to kill a U.S. Ambassador and the suspected release of Gilad Shalit by Hamas, Sky News have made an error sticking with the Jackson trial. IMO, its good for Sky Interactive, and good to dip into for a few minutes, but non-stop coverage is very dull. There hasn't been a huge public interest in it from what I've seen.

If this is what its going to be like if they get cameras in our courts then I'm against it, For most of the weekend & yesterday the ticker has almost constantly been telling us to watch highlights on Sky News for iPAD etc and that the trial resumes today at 16:45, How about showing us some news on the ticker when the trial isnt running, They could put that information in the black ticker and maybe make a Jackson trial divider

I have watched it most days for a short time but its annoying just as you get into it on the tv they have a break

The coverage on Sky is becoming unbarable and a big switch off. I'm sure folk from Sky News read the forum, so please take note... put the coverage on the red button, because most of the population don't really care.

I think Sky were expecting it to grip the nation in the way that other trials have in the past, but to be honest I think we've got enough on our plate at the moment without this piffle! Terrible journalistic errors tonight too, to keep with the rolling coverage and not break for the US Press Conference on what is an incredible breaking story. Sky News, for the first time in a while, has been a let down.

Are Sky taking a live feed of the CBS News now? Only reason I say this is because all the in and out of programme sponsors were there, along with Sky coming back a bit to early and catching the end of US commercials.
