didn't expect a slight graphics refresh on a sunday morning

I'm not sure whether I like it or not. It still looks as though it needs a bit of tweaking.

I quite like the tweak. You get to see more of the picture and despite the ticker being smaller I can still read it on my 4:3 CRT TV, unlike the new Speed Auction graphics for example.

I suppose these are just a 4:3 safe version of the HD graphics. I do wonder who they are keeping them 4:3 safe for though.

Does the HD channel still have side panels or did Sky get board of them (see also red button, website, twitter etc).

Love the graphic changes. Much, much better than before.

Love it too. The only problem is the skynews.com logo instead of the clock on skynews intl .This logo doesn't fit exactly to the size of the clock therefore it looks a bit un equal

Doesn't line up properly on the international feed:

I can read the ticker just about on my 28" CRT, yet I don't like the large straps against the ticker.

Sky had the ticker font size and look just right before this tweak on the SD service.

It looks quite nice, actually. The ticker looks better than the straps though.

The whole screen looks much cleaner though.

Loving the tweaks! So much more screen room now.
