Funny Press Preview tonight Anna Botting, Andrew Pierce & Kevin Maguire all laughing uncontrollably so they had to go to a break, Nice to see the 3 of them back together again, I always enjoy the monday press preview

Here it is in full nearly.....

That's just classic! They're a brilliant trio I have to say, it's staple viewing when they're on the press preview!

Some new graphics today when talking about something on the iPad or website, Either a laptop or an iPad appears on the screen with the blue line used for the current promo's half way up it, Next to the iPad or laptop is 2 lines of text, The top 1 says the title of the story and underneath that is more information on that story, The laptop then closes up and flies off the screen under the ticker, The iPad rotates and flies off under the ticker

More changes over the last few days it now says if it's for the Website or iPad before wiping to say the above, The more detailed information on the second line of text also changes multiple times if a story has different things such as maps, video clips etc and for the first time I've seen an iPhone version this morning which animates on and off in the same way as above

I liked the new adverts/ promo's when they were first introduced but seeing the same 4 over and over again day in day out gets boring, It would have been better if they had made many more of them and then played each 1 once or twice a day

I had to laugh when I noticed that Sky News have named their interactive map the 'Skystrator'. Laughing

Along with their 'Skycopter', it sounds as melodramatically cheesy as 'Batmobile' and 'Bat Ladder', and hardly worthy of an international news organisation.

Sky named it that almost 10 years ago.. It was used during the War in Iraq

Am just seeing Sky News from overseas for the first time and was under the impression I would not get the ticker and the clock but on both the SD and the HD channel it seems to be the same a part from the ad break were I get a news filler. Have they changed this recently to only including the clock and ticker or has it always been like this?

Am watching in Abu Dhabi via Etisalat cable service.

The clock isn't on any of the satellite SD versions I have seen, not seen the HD version on 7 West or on cable so not sure if that has ever had the clock. The normally ticker is on all the satellite SD versions though.
