Sky News: Presentation Discussion

Notice the EPG doesn't say 'News, Sport and Weather' anymore its now just 'Sky News'.

After 'doorstepping' Gadaffi himself yesterday, Lisa Holland is now talking once again to Saif Gaddafi. He also gave her 'an exclusive personal tour of Tripoli'.

Meanwhile Ruth Barnett, the once Twitter correspondent, is joining the Weekend Sunrise team as a political reporter.

Matt Smith is still on at 2am so it looks like they recorded the 12:00-12:30 and are just playing that back every 30 minutes, We didn't get the TOTH sequence either at 2am it just had the Sky News logo in the glass environment but the voiceover did say Live from the Sky News centre, This is Sky News with Matt Smith

Edit: Sky News was not live at all last night, Matt Smith was still on until 6am

Does that mean at 20past & 40past they will start over again or then go to sport and weather and start 20mins news at 30past? new but strange.

they should use a voiceover for nsw again . But finally sky has understood that the newswall backdrop is better than the gallery

The gallery backdrop is so boring now - was nice at first but the overuse of it just makes it look drab now.

Also how do they get away with saying 'LIVE from the Sky News Centre' overnight when it not live?
