I've just seen them briefly on Sky News at Six, they aren't terrible but I'm not a fan of the big time and day in the left hand corner. Although I'm watching in SD at the moment, so I can't say whether they're any better in high definition. But it certainly showed that it was cold.

I haven't watched on tv yet as I didn't know, but I had no problems with the ones they had, to me didn't even look tired. I don't don't know how long they had been in use for but I am sure its been tweaked once or twice
I noticed that they produce a complete European weather report for their website. I wonder why they don't air it on Sky News International, the feed that is distributed on European cable systems -- this would be far more relevant than either the endless UK forecasts or the "global" weather maps shown as breakfiller, which really only include a few major cities around the world.
I've just watched it in HD, and it seems a little in-your-face, especially in the short NSW bulletins. You barely have time to digest it at one time, before it flicks over.

That's because the updates are around 40-50sec long even the old 1 minute sometimes 1.10min long ones were pretty quick
