Just saw an ad on Sky Sports asking people to email Sky News if they see anything worth investigating, presumably hoping to make investigations a more regular feature.

So back to appointment to view bulletins in the day after a decade of straight news (they abandoned them all in the 2001 relaunch).

Back then there used to be a much livelier daytime schedule - World News, Business Report, Your Call, Today...

They shouldn't have any trouble getting guests. All the political types are in Millbank studios at 1pm doing WATO and the One o'clock news.

Another presentation area in the Westminster studio currently on air. Looking very well.

Good use of the newsroom/foreign desk at Sky Centre as well when Tim Marshall and later Sam Kiley were providing analysis of the Wikileaks story.

Must say Afternoon Live is a much better programme when Anna Jones is presenting, she suits it perfectly.

I caught the last half an hour of Afternoon Live today, and I must say it was very good. Anna Jones did an excellent job presenting it, and the new camera angle in Westminster, plus using the newsroom, was good to see. Impressive coverage today.

I'm not sure a majority of the population agree that Sky News has a "reputation for independent, impartial and innovative coverage" though. It's certainly not been portrayed as impartial this year, especially during the election period.

I think Sky should bring back the Sky Report, and let Martin Stanford present it, make it like the Fox Report this time though, and not a boring hour.

It was the weather forecast, but this version was the v/o. It ran for a 1.49 Not there now!
At 45sec it was meant to end, instead it continues you hear the chat between the v/o and presumably the editor. the communication was along te lines: Did I stumble? You said a word or two wrong in a few places...... and so on and its then started again, I will try and upload

EDIT: SkyNews Weather Error Clip

I've noticed over the last couple of weeks a few voiceovers used for Sky News Sunrise

Today we got Live from the Sky News centre, This is Sky News sunrise with Eamonn Holmes (first time i've ever heard that)
Last week with Anna Jones we got This is Sky News sunrise with Anna Jones
The most common version is Sky News sunrise with Eamonn Holmes

Is it just up to the person in charge on the day as to which one is picked?

The graphic with the travel information also went a bit wrong during the 6am hour, It had a fancy moving effect over the board but you could not read the information below

First time I've seen Gamal Fahnbulleh on Sky News - reporting from Wrotham in Essex just a few minutes ago.
