Oh god, this Burley interview is insufferable.

Please remove this woman from the television.

+1. This is really awful.

I don't normally hate Kay Burley, but her Pro Tory stance during the sky news debate, and right now, she is going too far!

I've never really had much cause to watch her - except when controversy arises around her - but how did she ever get to this stage? So damned rude and patronising. (In HD)

I normally have a comparatively high tolerance level for Burley, but she's been awful for the last hour, especially when she kept saying "They're asking for 'fair votes for all', whatever that means."

And now, having rounding on the organizer, is now saying to the two interviewees that he had a point.

Weather back at the newswall, but some technical issues with the ident and Qatar sting.

She really is mental. That interview was terrible - she tries to come across like a hard-hitter but fails to realise there's way more to it than just asking the question over and over.

Upon explaining to her that the right to protest is perfectly normal in a democracy, Kay responds: "Why don't you just go home and watch Sky News?"

Um, yeah, and why don't you go f*** yourself?

While I'm on the rant, no serious news presenter ever says "you guys", "those guys"...

Admittedly I didn't see the whole interview but isn't the job of a journalist to hear what interviewees have to say and then challenge them in this situation? We don't see the same sort of complaints when Adam Boulton does similar things.

et, voila! Scottishtv, me old mucker - you've just perfectly summed-up all there is to say about the lady in question. Your comment summarizes perfectly what we've all felt for the last decades since she has been on tv.

@magoo

I wouldn't dispute that. However, I reiterate that I've never really watched her in action before, and her manner is so bad it's almost compelling viewing just to see how dire she can be.

Normally when it comes to matters which normal people are involved with, she can come across as fair and caring, but in politics she is so biased, she may as well be painted blue, with a copy of the sun sticking out of her arse and "property of murdoch" tattoo on her forehead!
