Sky News: Presentation Discussion

I haven't seen the timings of the Kay Burley TOTHs, but if they're anything like JT's 5 yesterday I thought that worked really nicely in terms of making it all run a bit more seamlessly...

Seems the entire schedule has gone out the window - Kay looks like she is presenting Weekend Lunchtime as well.

Burley could be on the whole day I have a feeling, she needs to make up for her lack of air time on Thursday night and yesterday.

I'd expect largely normal weekday schedules. Afternoon Live Desk and all.

The 'Sky News Today' backdrop looks very very bright with the white election themed background. Not sure I like it.

But the weather right now is being presented from the new plasma and it looks a lot better. Hopefully they've decided it looks horrific on the newswall!

Just a shame they didn't take the opportunity to make the weather graphics actually mean something.

The Live Desk works great with the new graphics, cant get over how great the split screens are. Can anyone watching the HD feed post a pic if the premium panel is been used today for live desk. Does anyone know if there will be any panel graphic for SD viewers as we saw in the last package here:

I think the premium panels are launched tomorrow, so won't be in use today.

Good to see the weather at the new TV screen, rather than the newswall. Much better now.
Kay is slowly getting better at the TOTH, although there's a massive protest behind her now in Westminster, so you can barely hear her.

Flash mobbed Sky OB. No doubt they'll make a PR coup out of this.

Oh god, this Burley interview is insufferable.
