I don't think Emma Crosby would be too expensive for Sky. I don't think shes worth that much after her performance on GMTV. Sky could afford names like Eamonn Holmes and Dermot Murnaghan, so I don't think someone like Emma Crosby would be a problem money-wise.

However I thnk the appropriate word in the above is COULD. Sky COULD afford Eamonn and Dermot a few years ago - but I'm not sure they would be able to now... After all they've got their internal HD loan to repay...

Their upgrade to HD has no effect whatsover on their normal budget. It was funded directly through BSkyB, and is not a loan.

Maybe he's relocating. She seems to be China Correspondent now.

When the HD preview channel was running they both filed reports from China.

And Rhiannon Mills from Anglia Tonight is apparently heading for Sky News, after leaving the programme. What will her role be?

Must say Jayne Secker is impressive as a presenter, deserving of the fill in slot on News at 10, unlike Matt Smith who doesn't come across as a natural at it.

Hope Sky might try and get Emma Crosby back, although I am not sure where she would fit into the schedule.

Maybe she could do Saturday Live?

Emma could present in any slot at Sky News. She is more than capable. But wouldn't she be good as the new presenter of The One Show?

Except The One Show (reportedly) said "no" to any former GMTV presenters.
