Now that HD's live, I'm glad that the ticker "judder" I used to see on SD has gone

Well done to SKY, for their launch, it was great!

Now I'd like to see more of the newsroom in HD!!!

Great to see Stephen Dixon present News at 10 on location on such a big night. Oddly Adam is back at Sky centre.

Not sure about the new headline bed. Lacks gravitas.

New font is growing on me but certainly elements of graphics package remind me of ITV News for some reason.

The curves on the diagonal lines are the similar trait!

Very nice graphic for the newspaper front pages, especially in HD where the front pages look so clear and crisp that for the tabloids you can read the text of the article.

Loving the news graphics on sky news. Worth the wait.

I'd also like to take this opportunity to show some huge respect for Adam Boulton who over the last month must have been surviving on about 5 hours sleep a night and the last 48 hours...Who knows how much he's had! My guess is that he is so interested in politics he wouldn't have been able to stop himself getting up throughout the day on Thursday then was awake all night, off for 3 hours or so then back on!

Great man; Doing a great job. I would imagine once we have a government and after the queens speeech etc he'll disappear for a few weeks Wink Although I'd imagine anyone would be pleased with his pay-packet for this month Wink

For all the various things they may have got wrong since the 2005 relaunch, I think they have pulled of the HD launch and the new look superbly and deserve great credit for being so ambitious with this project. Looking forward to seeing how it all comes together on regular news day's aswell but as far as last night and today is concerned with the exception of lip synch issues that were quickly sorted out it has been pretty faultless.

Absolutely, he seems to be on there 24/7.

New Graphics: 9/10 - Look well thought out, really like the 'live' graphic/transition when going to an OB. Music: Perhaps lacking the pace on the beds, nevertheless a positive improvement.

Anyone else notice the lack of Burley today and last night? A clear demotion from 05.

I wonder if any high profile presenters are presenting over the weekend?
