A pal of mine who works at Sky confirmed to me last night that Sky News' move to its new studio early next year will co-incide with a complete new graphics package for the channel.
How exciting is that!

About time aswell, the current graphics package is not a patch on the one used two years ago. The titles, astons and general presentation were better.

Erm... not the most startling of revalations, I have to say.

Hard to believe that they'd move to a purpose built, multi-million pound news centre and not bother to upgrade their graphics in the process.

They *won't* be moving until after the election.

They won't be in for either. The relaunch and new studio will be in use after the election.

I think you misunderstand. There could be an election in February.

I didn't misunderstand at all - Sky won't be using the new studio if there's a snap election in February, or the other anticipated date in May.
