Peter Andre had a load of interviews lined up today, all prebooked - he was on Moyles this morning, Richard Bacon this afternoon and of course Sky News (I'm sure he turned up in a few other places too)

I wonder how much of a co-incidence the wedding was? And if it wasn't who was it that arranged it to work out that way - Jordan to scupper his publicity or Andre to counteract her wedding

Burley said at the start of the interview that it was arranged last week.

Yes, hence my use of the word 'pre-booked'

Was Joel Hills really stood in the middle of The City with a laptop there?

Easier to carry a laptop than a laptop and a printer.

Her "blog" today :

"Should we scan patients presumed to be in a vegetative state to see if they are capable of communicating?"

Must be a joke?

Anyway, Burley is lapping up this attention no doubt. I probably sound ageist and I don't care, but she's passed it for presenting. When a younger woman is presenting AL, it's much easier to watch.

And I thought this forum was above getting on board the Jordan publicity bandwagon - which after all is all that this is.

If Colin Brazier, Lorna Dunkley, Eamonn Holmes or any other presenter had been sat there I'm guessing similar, provocative questions would have been asked.

Quite.

Sky News tries to have a foot in all camps - to cater for those that want 'serious' news like politics, the economy etc and those that want 'light' news such as showbiz stories about Amy Winehouse. I think they continue to cover the latter to distance themselves from BBC News, but it comes at a cost to their reputation which has gone to shreds over the last few years. It's a pity.

Sky News is The Sun
BBC News is The Independent
ITV News is Hello Magazine
Channel 4 News is The Guardian
Five News is OK Magazine

That's how I see it anyway, so you cant blame sky for trying to be the most popular as the Sun is, but with popularity comes celebrity drivel. Their domestic Politics and Business coverage is still the best, even if there is a strong pro-tory spin on it all.
