It feels like up until very recently, though, that every other story on CNNi seemed to come from freelancers or global affiliates (especially ITN!).
I don't expect Sky News to split into two services for a very long time, and while there was that plan mooted to move to an internation focus, I think they'd be better off sticking with the UK-focused agenda they have at the moment.
I agree though that if Sky News did come up with a fully fledged international rival to CNNi and BBC World it could be a very attractive alternative to the two channels with their slow, dull pace as far as presentation goes - to produce whole bullitins with an international agenda would be the challenge.
