and other information leaking out it looks like the relaunch is not far off. The Sky News Business Channel has had vizrt since it's inception but SNA have been using a very old gfx program for some time now.

They've been using software they got in 1996 and they updated it in 2006!

"Bookending" both ends of the ticker is a bit of waste of widescreen space. Assuming it's broadcast in widescreen, the channel must look somewhat squished (to use a technical term!)

No, still no widescreen despite the fact that the rest of the country has been since around 2002 now.
