I notice that Sky News have brandished a huge Breaking News Aston Up... 'Murray out of Wimbledon' hardly a fair thing to do to the guy, be a bit more dignified.

I think Sky News are about to introduce their second major event in HD - Michael Jacksons memorial is to be broadcast on Sky News and Sky Arts 1 HD from 5.30pm BST this Tuesday.
With Sky News HD confirmed as launching next year, I wonder if they will be using this opportunity to test a set graphics setup for the full channel.
The Obama broadcast used a special graphics set.
I'd imagine they will use the same set of graphics as they did for Obama - although I have seen a special purple/silver 'Michael Jackson' wipe they've been using recently, maybe that is a clue that there will be special Michael Jackson graphics.

I doubt an american flag backing and red and blue straps with the star on them would be appropriate, but thinking about it...
Martin Stanford tweeted to SkyNews.com's producer "great numbers Friday" last week which would suggest SkyNews.com rated well for that edition, an hour-long MJ special IIRC.
How come Sky News has not updated its graphics with the new ones displayed on the newswall? The background and logo is much nicer than the top of the hour graphics.
Sky News Active needs a graphic update aswell, it looks bad on the front screen. A simple change in background image would improve it.
The Sky News Centre looks more like a sweet shop with the candy colours.
