Viewing this as an outsider, the new set does look quite amazing, though I see see what they mean by lighting, the video of the TOTH with Afternoon Live seems that you can see her go inbetween lighting there, very uneven.

As a sidenote, and something that has always bothered/interested me, are they carrying around tablet PCs there or something, what she has in her hands and what I've seen so many others hold. That's always interested me and I've love an answer.

Newswall looks brilliant with that background about the David Davis story.

I really hope today is not a false dawn and that it is a turning point for Sky News.

Yep, they're tablet PCs showing the running order, newswires etc.

Yeah, I get what you mean - hope that they're not just doing everything to try and impress on the first day, and will keep up the quality.

The camera is now more to the right, and no 'red fins' are visible, just blue ones in shot. Looks better with the red ones in IMO.

I spot the 2005 desktop background on one of the computers in the gallery! Also a very shaky return from the break there, the camera was all over the place!
