have sky news scrapped NSW? They seem to be running a sky news today format with lorna presenting from the desk and sarah jane doing news summaries.

This weekend there is quite a lot of news which will be rolling, such as 65th aniversary of the D-Day landings. News, Sport and Weather is not a suitable format for that, so they have gone for the sky news today format.

It was Charles Kennedy's, he jumped and was seen playing with his phone on the wide shot.

Set is looking good, amazed how well they can fit all these panelists around the desk.

Has Martin Stanford got his touch screen out? I haven't seen it. Jeremy Vine on the BBC is using a virtual set, with a touch screen embedded in it, to quite effectively zoom in on very precise towns, regions etc. for analysis.

The BBC also has Emily Maitlis using a Touch screen similar to Martins. AFAIK Martin has used his screen earlier in the night.

Hmmmm. There was a picture a few weeks back from the webcam, where they were trying backgrounds for the Live Desk on the newswall, which would suggest a move to the island.

Would be a shame if the Live Desk presentation area was lost Sad Sad
