Just seen the latest Sky News advert (Where does.... see it first etc)

The new one:
Quote:
Where does the BBC hear it first?

Evan Davies, Today, 5th June 2009: Downing Street sources say that the reshuffle could happen as early as today, I notice Sky are saying that Yvette Cooper is in for a big job.

I really do hate Nick Robinson. He thinks he's the best when Gordon Brown comes to him first whereas Adam Bouton, Jon Craig and Tom Bradby are far better political correspondents.

They're turning these adverts round fast with the 'Sky News First' tag! Keeps them current I guess.

On another note Adam Bolton has just conducted a down the line interview from a Labour Working Mens Club in Derby, with a representative from Labour and a Conservative. In the background some of the people, are rather merry to say the least, waving away and pointing at themselves on the TV in the room. However, during the representative from Labour's response, Sky post a breaking news strap of Margaret Beckets resignation, and they all get the giggles and start being rather dismissive of the Labour representative! Made a very amusing watch.

Must say I thought Adam Boulton,John Craig,JT,Martin Stanford and the whole team were excellent today. Also having proper news and analysis makes Sky News so much more watchable between 8 and 10 that the usual 15 minute news round ups.

An exchange with Northern Ireland secretary Shaun Woodward MP just got rather heated when the subject of G20 came up. Adam's rant in full:

"Listen, I covered it. I'm fed up with hearing about the G20 summit, and how brilliant it was for Gordon Brown. I covered that summit. Yes, he played a significant part; there were also the Chinese there, there was Barack Obama there. It was not a Gordon Brown triumph. And if you look at the comments of the other leaders, yes he was commended, but he didn't run the show and in fact going into it both he and Barack Obama wanted a second stimulus. There wasn't a second stimulus. So where was this great triumph?"

Oh I do wish he'd get off the fence!

Nice to see Chris Roberts and Mark Longhurst both getting to do outside-broadcasts today.

They both deserve bigger roles at Sky.

This is another clipof adam. He is great to watch but of camera he does seem to be quite rude.

Presumably the big HD screen is the one on the Sunrise set.
