Big mistake as well- she's so uninteresting and not special enough. She can "handle" the presenting, but there's no panache
Big gig for Sarah Hughes presenting Afternoon Live this afternoon.

Agreed, watching for the last hour or so and while she is professional there is no sense of personality on air.

Extremely droll for Afternoon Live. No personality, no charisma at all.

Nice to see a fresh face on screen sometimes though especially in place of the ubiquitous Burley.

Indeed some of her reporting has shown a 'lighter side'
I actually thought that given the chance she would have been the opposite of what she is now

They should have put Anna Jones on afternoon live. She has experience and also a personality. Has Joel Hills left sky? I think they are referring to Paul Harrison as their Business correspondent know

No. Joel Hills still with Sky. Think I saw him on The Live Desk yesterday. EDIT: He's also on Jeff Randall Live with Anna Jones tonight.
Paul Harrison has been doing business for a few months. I think Ursula Errington is also Business now, after a short spell with Political.

Woah, Sarah Hughes was the main anchor on AL today? That's a bit of a turn up for the books. Who did the news summaries then?
The presenters have been all over the place again this week. I assumed Anna B would be in for Dermot all week but Steve was on this morning.
On the plus side their coverage of the speakers' resignation yesterday was very good on the whole. I do take SN2005's point about Boulton though. His anti-Labour bias has never been more apparent and it's becoming tiresome.

Jayne Secker was on the news summaries for AL today.
Also on the presenter front, Matt Smith has been on NSW so far this week.
