Sky News will be out and about tomorrow seeing how Britain is fairing in the face of the current recession.

*Sunrise: Eamonn Holmes will be live in Flintshire, North Wales to meet those made homeless.
*Sky News Today: Dermot Murnaghan will be live in Halesowen, West Midlands, the heart of UK manufacturing.
*Afternoon Live: Kay Burley will be live in Edinburgh, looking at ways out of the 'burst housing bubble.'
*Live at Five: Jeremy Thompson will be live in Swindon, still reeling from the impact of Honda slowing it's production.

Charlie Brooker will be foaming at the mouth, no doubt. Laughing

It's supposedly the Government's national debt which has accumulated since 7am this morning.

We're not going down the TV Burp route are we? where certain people continually try second guessing what he's going to to cover. Rolling Eyes

YAY for the Mail making a mountain out of a mole hill yet again.

This happened years and years ago - so does it really matter who broke it first? Looks to me like a mistake was made - possibly fuzzy memories and recollections.

But it doesn't matter. At all.

I think the poster was referring to the first edition of the brilliant, must-watch Newswipe which showed the results of Sky News' previous recession watch tour of the UK.

In summary- lots of presenters saying things like "you must really be struggling to make ends meet..." followed by lots of people saying "well, not really..." or "business is actually up...". Consistently met by more doom-mongering from the presenter.

It's on the iPlayer for all to respect.

Sorry to be pedantic, but it's 50% more viewers - not twice the audience.

"Thanking the teams - BBC News Channel got very big audience yesterday - 50% higher than Sky...and 0.5m people also watched live on website.."
