Really missing Paula Middlehurst now, can't wait for her return.

Never realised she was pregnant if honest. I just thought she was off to pastures new.

Nice shot during Afternoon Live today with Anna Jones at the newswall, Andrew Wilson at the island, and Anna Botting at the news desk.

Great to see Chris Roberts on Sunrise this morning.

Breaking news coverage of the London fire has been very good this afternoon.

Well done Sky. Smile

And if the fire had been anywhere other than London would it have been reported? Rolling Eyes

A valid point. A bigger fire in Northampton last year made it to the ticker but not until late in the evening when the fire was well under control. Don't believe there was any report.

I suppose the argument from the news broadcasters would be that London is the capital city and therefore more people are living and working there, hence it is more newsworthy.

The live web-stream wasn´t cut after "Jeff Randall Live". So we could see Anna Botting sitting on the "island" to do NSW. She looked a bit angry about it as she was saying "This is a stupid broadcast position!"

I wonder why they all hate it? Thats Kay, Steve and now Anna who dislike the position of it.

Its just like the old elbow shape but the camera is the other way round.

I was surprised they sent so much time on it - a building no-one's ever heard of, and (thankfully) no one trapped or killed. A good story for a regional news programme, but not for a national rolling news channel
