Cheers guys, looks very nice. Great to see a completely different look and feel for Sunrise compared to Sky Today, something they haven't done for a long time. Looking forward to see how the rest of the day looks...
Can't believe they have gone back to using the newswall for the weather.

Agreed - though it's still not the clearest of weather forecasts at all. Overall though so far at least the newswall seems underused - it tends to be just there as a backdrop to CSO graphics.
The new main desk is nice, as is the one by the newswall - nothing too flash really, but a change for the better. The main motive seems to have been to change the camera angles so the real newsroom is in the background, rather than the newswall.
Undecided on the Sunrise set - it's nice enough, but uses pretty much the same shots throughout - and I'm sure the only reason they got a massive screen was to make Eammon look smaller. That said though, it's better than them being squeezed together on the balcony.
Just a shame they haven't tweaked the graphics at all, especially the TOTH - still looks a bit too childish for my liking!
I wonder if it's significant that the desk is still on the.. umm.. revolving platform thing. Wonder what the chances of it being turned in a different direction for, say, Live at Five.

Yep, Live at Five and News at Ten will have the gallery/ingest for the backdrop.
