I think the problem with the new elbow is the actual camera angles. I think if the camera was positioned at the left hand side of it, so we wouldn't actually see the legs of the presenter, it would seem more comfortable for them, because thats how the old elbow was positioned.
The amount of ads and lack of news on AL is ridiculous. just now they had the top story,brief news summary then ads at 11 past. Followed by sport and then more ads round 17 minutes past. Really disappointed that all the bad habits from post 2005 have returned despite the set change.
And rather amazingly Live At 5 are leading with the "chimp attack" story
Interestingly no ads between 12 and 12.30,perhaps they think RTS are watching!
More likely they have used up their quota of adverts for this month... not sure if I'm just channel hopping at the wrong times but they are always on adverts when I get to Sky News!
Rotating desk stuck?? Anna B presenting L@5 with newswall background. Desk seems to be in the position to show newsroom in background but Anna sitting at awkward angle to line up with wall.
