Mini summary of the main stories in the papers during the Live Desk AM - is that new or have they been doing this since the morning edition started?

Martin hasn't popped up with the SkyNews.com preview so I suppose they are going to make us wait until 7 to see that.

Colin has also just done a roundup of what's coming up throughout the day on Sky News - including PMQs from 1200, etc.

It's normally in the 1pm bulletin, has it been in the 9am bulletin?

EDIT: Wow, it looks amazing, the desk is round and it looks like it is in the same place as before only with a better look at the newsroom.

Yep, they've gone very BBC News channel with the silver and grey look, but you can tell the difference between a real newsroom and a fake cheap one that the BBC are forced to use in N6.

It's very Star Trek Enterprise looking,but I like it.

Tbh I preferred the original 2005 set, but it needed a spruce up and this does look very nice indeed! Hope we see people, such as Kay Burley, still walking around the studio - one of the things I've always liked about Sky!

Sunrise is much better in that position than before. Shame about the graphics as I've never really liked Sky's graphics - all too busy constantly and all of the swipes and swishes.

In terms of desks - Sunrise's is great . I have to admit I'm not too keen on the new desk for things like Sky News Today - all the little bits added together just feels a bit odd tbh. Also why does everyone go for this cheap grey plasticy affect - its one of the worst bits about BBC News's desks imo and spoils their studios.

Wasn't there talk about new music too btw?

From what i'm lead to believe, when the new Sky News Logo goes live on the channel, the titles and graphics with have a refresh/freshen up.
